My Name is Layla
Layla came in as a surrender, The previous owners described her as: friendly, quiet, shy, sensitive and affectionate, they had 2 children ages 1 and 5 and said she was afraid of children. So a quiet home with adults only would be ideal for Layla to bloom in.

  • Hope for the Holidays

Cue the Sarah McLachlan music and the sound of Screeching Brakes. We hear you loud and clear; and we also get tired of seeing all the heart-wrenching 'donate for sick/injured or there will be no care' and 'rescue/pull/adopt or they will die' photos and stories. So here it is: if they are broken; we do everything we can do to fix them. If they are sick; we buy medicine, medical supplies and medical care. If they have issues; we have a big old tool box full of solutions. No one will die because we have no space, no supplies, no money, no time. And we have no space, no supplies, no money and no time. We exist on HOPE. We take on every injury, every illness, every hoarding situation -- every moment of every day, and every situation within those moments, knowing we cannot afford to do what we do, and that we cannot afford to do one more, but we will continue to do it, and we will continue to HOPE it all comes together...somehow. Would you help us continue to do what we do and make a donation? Our HOPES always remain high. You can help keep all of our HOPES alive and make a difference! No one will die if you don't, and no injury or illness will go untreated, because we will continue to figure it out; but through your kindness and a donation, the abandoned and surrendered animals can continue to stay safe in what they always HOPE will only be their temporary housing. A gift from the heart is our HOPE for the Holidays and priceless for the shelter animals!   Please donate, we need your help!

  • Raise the Woof - Expanding for the Animals We Love!

Thank you for your consideration and your support for our campaign. The Fond du Lac Humane Society has embarked on an expansion to its existing facility in order to meet both the current and future needs of the area's animal population. The proposed addition will have almost three times the space of the existing building and will provide for all the needs of the animals for the many years to come. The Board of Directors of the Fond du Lac Humane Society has decided to proceed with a $600,000 capital campaign to expand their facility. We need your help in assisting us to reach our goal.

Should you wish to pledge your financial support, this may be done over a three year period. If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact us. With your help and support, we can make our dreams become a reality. Please make a donation and help the mercury in our thermometer grow...
