• Meet Colby! Colby is a senior gentleman with plenty of personality and a reputation for being a bit of a grumpy old man. Change isn't really his thing, and new environments can leave him feeling stressed and a little cranky for a few days while he settles in. He's also a bit selective about who earns his trust, but for the lucky people who do, Colby has a very sweet side. Once he's comfortable, Colby becomes an affectionate companion who loves spending time with his favorite people. He's a true lap cat at heart and enjoys relaxing close to those he trusts. He also has a delightfully funky meow and is often seen with his tongue sticking out, giving him an extra dose of charm and character. Colby hasn't shown much of a playful side here at the shelter and would much rather spend his days lounging and napping in a cozy cat tower. Because he can be sensitive to stress and prefers a predictable routine, he would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can settle in at his own pace. Colby is inexperienced around other cats and introductions may be stressful for him, but he can be cat tested for serious adoption inquiries. Colby is UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV tested negative, neutered, microchipped, and is front-paw declawed.
