Surrender/Rehome

Surrendering your Pet:

LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION?

When looking to rehome a pet, you are making a life-changing decision on the behalf of that animal. Fond du Lac Humane Society (FDLHS) understands particular moments in life require this from time to time. But we do ask that you actively search for hopeful solutions before letting go.

Even simply sharing your experiences with friends, family and coworkers can result in a positive outcome. Peers can share solutions for your challenges.

Our goal is to keep pets with their families. If you still need help, we are here to help, feel free to call us at 920-922-8873. Our staff can help you explore your options and become a resource for you.

Fond du Lac Humane Society’s LIFETIME GUARANTEE

Surrendering Your Pet to FDLHS

Fond du Lac Humane Society (FDLHS) understands surrendering your animal is a tough decision, we will help you to determine the best way FDLHS can help you and your pet. Information about surrender fees will be discussed over the phone. Fees do vary, depending on the location you live and the type of pet you are needing to surrender. The surrender fees asked for are only a small portion of the cost of care provided during your pets stay at our facility. Appointments are required, this allows adequate time for our staff to gain information about your pet and to ensure FDLHS has adequate space for housing.
