Oh Hey! Cooper here!! Are you looking to adopt America's most owned dog breed?? Well.. HERE I AM!! I am your typical lab - friendly, but also independent, playful and energetic! I am a toy fanatic - but I should be supervised with some toys as I do like to chew. I keep my kennel sparkling clean and love the good outdoors. I am a VERY strong guy - so kids old enough that I will not knock down. I do need some basic obedience training - I would benefit from leash manners, drop it and leave it. I am told I was a tad over weight when I came in 110lbs so I am on a diet plan.. I am 90lbs currently and have a few lbs to shed. I do need an owner that will help me succeed in my weight loss journey. I would do good with a well mannered doggy pal that can run and play with me! I LOVE fetch and am more toy motivated than treat motivated. I like people but it does take a few meet n greets before I am comfortable with them taking me for a walk - the shelter has become a comfort zone for me. So someone wiling to continue to build my confidence would be great! I am microchipped, neutered and up to date on age appropriate vetting. Apply for me today!!
