• Meet Mabel! Mabel is a cat who knows exactly what she likes—and isn't afraid to let you know! This independent lady is selective about the people she chooses to trust, but for those lucky enough to earn a spot in her inner circle, she's a sweet and affectionate companion. Mabel enjoys attention on her own terms and is very good at giving subtle cues when she's had enough, so she's looking for someone who appreciates and respects her boundaries. With a healthy dose of sass and diva energy, Mabel has a big personality packed into one beautiful cat. She hasn't shown much interest in toys during her time at the shelter, but that could certainly change once she's settled into a home environment where she feels comfortable. Her favorite pastime is relaxing on a cozy cat bed and observing the world from a comfortable spot. Mabel is inexperienced around other cats and would most likely prefer being the only feline in the household. She can be further cat tested for serious adopters. Because she can be a bit unpredictable when her buttons are pushed and prefers a quieter lifestyle, Mabel would do best in an adult-only home with someone who understands and appreciates cats with strong personalities.
