- Introducing Sebastian! (Still working on socialization, not quite ready yet.) Sebastian comes from a litter that has had very minimal handling at their previous home, so they all came in very scared and they spook easily. Sebastian and the entire litter needs someone who will be patient and be willing to expose them to the world slowly. Sebastian must go home with another confident dog already in the home. He must also have a fenced in yard. Children over 10 years old would be very beneficial for the growth and development of these pups. Older children will be able to be included in their training and development and keep the dog safe. With the under-socialization of this litter, they are a flight risk. If he were to get scared, he would look for a way out fast at first, and will not look to you for protection and guidance until he feels safe with you. He is getting more comfortable with being handle in baths, brushing, collars and leashes, and going out in the real world for walks and socialization. The adopters will need to be patient and have the time to work with him, build his confidence around kids, noises (inside and out), and riding in a car and in a kennel. Prepaid puppy classes would be a must because of the following: 1. It will build confidence while teaching obedience. 2. Get the dog accustomed to working around other dogs (learning to read other dog’s body languages) 3. Build confidence outside their home. 4. Learn to ride in a kennel in a car. 5. Most of all, getting the adopter to commit to working with their new family member on building confidence and bonding that will last a lifetime! Sebastian is UTD on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Apply today to meet your new best friend!
