Welcome Ariana!!
February 12th, 2024 – The Fond du Lac Humane Society is excited to announce the appointment of Ariana Herbst-Cram as our new Executive Director. With a long career of development, fundraising, operational leadership and a passion for community collaboration, Ariana brings a wealth of experience to our organization.
Ariana’s background in relationship building, combined with a deep belief in helping animals and non-profits, will help to re-envision and further advance our organization as we enter a new chapter of animal welfare in the City of Fond du Lac. “We are thrilled to welcome Ariana as our new Executive Director”, says Penny Kottke, President of the Fond du Lac Humane Society. “In this new role, Ariana brings a fresh perspective and new opportunities for deeper community collaboration while strengthening our mission and dedication to the community we serve.”
Ariana officially joined the Humane Society on February 12th, assuming leadership of the organization, with a focus on our volunteer program, marketing, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives, while supporting the existing shelter management team. “I am honored to have been selected to lead the Fond du Lac Humane Society into the next chapter, building on the great work done before me to grow the organization and serve as many animals as we can”, said Ariana Herbst-Cram, Executive Director for the Fond du Lac Humane Society. “I cannot wait to combine my lifelong passion for animals of all kinds, and my deep love of nonprofit work to further the mission of the Humane Society. I am excited to see what we can accomplish together!”
To welcome Ariana to the community, the Fond du Lac Humane Society invites everyone to our Paws and Hearts Open House on Saturday, February 17th from noon until 2 p.m. This event will provide an opportunity for community members and supporters to meet Ariana, and learn more about the Fond du Lac Humane Society’s mission and vision.
